Wikipedia en MP3 avec Pediaphon

Le site Pediaphon produit des fichiers MP3 et podcasts automatiquement à partir des textes des articles de Wikipédia grâce à un logiciel de synthèse vocale . Le site d'actualités AgoraVox propose également la lecture de ses articles par une voix synthétique au format MP3. La prochaine étape serait de pouvoir convertir n'importe quelle page web à la volée au format MP3, ce qui serait très utile pour les non-voyants, et pour tout le monde d'ailleurs.(une info lue sur Brouehaha,

Un bon début, dommage que le ton métallique et guttural de la voix synthétique ne soit pas sans rappeler celle de HAL, l'ordinateur hostile et récalcitrant de 2001, Odyssée de l'Espace. Une voix peu flippante et donc impossible à écouter sur la durée sauf si on est fâché avec l'humanité !
